Tucked just outside Leeds city centre and a short walk from the First Direct Arena, The Leeds Rifleman has been a part of the local landscape for decades. With Carlton Barracks right next door, it’s no surprise where the name came from — and we’ve kept that strong, community-first spirit ever since.

We’re not part of a chain. We’re not trying to be trendy. We’re just a good, honest pub — the kind where your drink’s poured right, the welcome’s real, and the vibe’s whatever you make it.

Over the years, we’ve even become a bit of a quiet favourite for TV and film crews — drawn in by the character of the place (and maybe the characters in it). But most days, you’ll find locals, students, and arena-goers popping in for a pint or a pint-sized singalong.

We’ve got a cosy beer garden that catches the sun just right, regular events like quiz nights and game nights, and a private function room for hire. And we’re cooking up something new — literally — with food service launching soon to keep you well-fed while you’re well-watered.
